2014 Ford Focus Spark Plug Wire Diagram

Hey All,
I'm trying to perform a volute on quid conversion happening my zetec.the duatecs have them.
I got the coils and harness but need a wiring diagram for the duratec coil on spark plug unmoving up to figure outgoing the wiring.
its gotta be the 2.0 l duratec the 2.3 has three wire coils the 2.0 has two.
thanx for some help

they say it is a good idea for boosted engines

No plug wires.

To the OP: The foremost thing you're active to sustain to find is boots long enough to go through and through to the spark plugs. I'm non sure if Dtec boots will outfit. Secondly, you're going to have to figure out how to deem the coils in place. The wiring is sledding to count on which style of coil you have. I really don't imagine you john do information technology without some sort of spark controller. Your current coil doesn't have separate wires for each cylinder going to it- so how are you sledding to get that to work with the Nail coils?

Is that it? No wires? And Jay Racing makes this apparatus for the Zetec soh it hind end be done, but I don't know virtually the wiring. I believe Jim (roushturboedzx3) has it.

Just a comment: Jay Racing makes a conversion kit. I consider I've seen a few engine shots in the FF gallery with some guys here using them. If you chink out their WWW site jayracing.com, you can see the parts they use for the conversion and how involved it is -- No wiring diagrams though.

Edit: Oops, I see disciplerocks beat me to information technology.

yep not more than to the mod just coils connectors and wiring
here is the jay racing plot for the zetec so i recognise what wires to enjoyment on the zetec but i'm not trustworthy what terminal in the coils to use for what wires...if i had the duratec wiring diagram i would be able to figure information technology out
does it even matter what terminal is used ???
i'm non real sure how the whorl works...if it would get screwed up if i didnt stimulate the proper a terminal and b terminal as per diagram

Mean Green posted the basic wiring info., 1 & 4 fire in concert, sol do 2 & 3. Existing coil pack whole shebang the same fashio, you just need a hot & ground for each pair of coils....

As diagrammed, the common positive feeds one pair, then the circuit continues through the corresponding roll to fire the pair when the computer completes the ground to cause a spark...

! & 4 Opposite to coil 1 flat coat, 3 & 4 mated to coil 2 ground....

It's called a "wasted spark" system, as the coils fire each time the piston comes up even though it's only needed every some other prison term... Simpler wiring & controls that way, a four cyl. doesn't need separate spark control for to each one piston chamber...

true,i'm good with all that just need to know what terminal on the curl is for positive and what one is ground????

The coil period of time 2 gets the battery magnate and terminal 1 is grounded by the PCM.

ok which one is 2 and which one is 1??they are not conspicuous on the coil.
thats why i pauperism the wiring diagram

Posted via FF MobileMay I suggest checking with a cadence? even with a diagram that shows the true connector you should check no doubt the diagram matches your car, and if you balk for key -on power with a meter, you can frame out the repose without one.....

well this is a stylish for a zx3 that doesnt have the volute on plug set sprouted sol that method wont help me to much.
anybody experience if i posterior check the coil to figure out which is pos concluding and which is neg.??

that allay doesnt help me.
i know what the wires do on my cable car now.
i know what to do with them for the conversion.
i DONT know what terminals to usage on the individual coils.
One is for positive and one is for ground I dont know how to figure that retired???

Ah, well based on this picture, the upper side wire is pos and the stern is neg.
